Hi, we're Alex and Brent

Dr. Alex Boytar (PhD) and Brent Cunningham (PhD (c), AEP) founded tmrwlab to provide the principles of exercise research so that people can get access to reliable and useful exercise information. Our aim is to make it easier for you to: 1) get more out of your training, 2) use exercise in a way that fits your life, and 3) use research to work towards the goals you care about.

​

Dr. Alex is passionate about using exercise for people to get the most out of their bodies. He also has a research background in women's health and clinical exercise for recovery after cancer. His interests are in identifying the differences in how we all adapt to exercise. It may be hypertrophy and strength, fitness, or health and longevity goals. He is passionate about educating others on what research can tell us, what it can't, and implementing it in an effective way.

Brent Cunningham is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, and working towards completing his PhD. He specialises in using exercise to it's full potential through the ups-and-downs of day-to-day life. He is passionate about understanding what to do when you're short on time, low on energy, and want to make long term progress towards fitness and health. As a world expert in applying exercise for those with advanced cancer and has extensive experience working with musculoskeletal injury he is able to apply up to date research in highly effective programming.
